If you had told me six months ago that I would become a blogger, I would have laughed. I would have said, “There is just no way that’s going to happen.” I mean, who has the time? Who wants to hear what I have to say? These were the questions I often asked myself, especially when I was deep in my corporate job. I was content driving forward initiatives while playing what I like to call corporate “Survivor.”
Corporate Survivor: You know the game—the alliances you create, the constant show of value to avoid getting “voted off the island” (aka laid off). How do you say the right things in the right meetings? When should you speak up, and when should you listen? That game just wasn’t for me anymore, but did you know you can get off the island all on your own?
So, I took a leap—the proverbial jump off a fast-paced escalator. This escalator was like the kind you run up, one that keeps moving and never stops, always demanding more from you. No matter how fast you go, it feels like you're stuck in place, constantly climbing but never reaching the top. It was a never-ending cycle of pushing harder and harder to stay ahead, and I finally decided it was time to step off and change direction.
I decided to return to my roots and drive transformative change in healthcare for society’s most vulnerable people. I wanted to work with thought-leaders and companies I believe in to make it happen. Not just for one company, but for the masses.
Yes, I know these are big dreams for a small-town kid. But after putting in so much work, why not show my teams and those who look up to me that I can do it? Even as a woman from the Midwest with a childhood marked by poverty and abuse, can I really make it happen?

It's been six weeks, and I can unequivocally tell you what I am going to do: I am transforming healthcare with AI-driven operational excellence. It's simple. Together, we can transform healthcare.
I have met with so many amazing startups, consultants, and providers who are working tirelessly to help people who are sick and in need. They are looking at data and using AI to provide the tools necessary for healthier lives. They help patients learn about their conditions and get themcritical information quickly and safely, so they can receive life-saving treatment.
So, how can I help? That part is easy, I use my super power of course. Where these transformative ideas often go wrong is in their implementation. They aren't scalable, don’t drive change, or lack operational soundness. The idea is taken to market, and then it fails to deliver the expected outcomes. Private equity firms make bets and lose, and those great ideas just fall by the wayside, and we try again. It’s a cycle.
I've seen this happen time and again in my 20 years in the business. But I’m here to tell you that we can break this cycle.
